EVENT POLICY
BEDTIME STORIES has a strict event policy that all guests must adhere to on entry or purchase of a ticket. This policy helps us keep our guests and performers safe and equally important, having fun. If you have any questions about our policy, please get in touch.
WHAT IS BEDTIME STORIES?
BEDTIME STORIES is a UK-based live radio club championing experiments in ambient, downtempo and electronic music. We function as a relaxed gathering space for people to enjoy live music, live sets and performances with friends and soon-to-be friends. While we love the spirit of the rave, Bedtime Stories is more of an easy-going, live lounge atmosphere.
WHO CAN ATTEND?
Everyone is welcome to attend our events. However, we have a zero tolerance policy for discrimination of any kind (including but not limited to gender, religion, sexuality, ethnicity, age, and dis/ability) as well as phsyical harrassment, sexual harrassment and violence. In such cases where this policy is not adhered to, we reserve the right to ban you from BEDTIME STORIES events.
CAN I ATTEND ON MY OWN?
Yes, please do! We actively encourage all attendees to come and meet new people whether you’re with friends or riding solo. Check out our EVENT GUIDELINES for our ethos and be sure to drop us a line if you see an event you like but are unsure about attending.
ARE YOUR EVENTS DOCUMENTED?
Our live events are filmed and documented for our social media channels and website. Filming notices will be clearly marked in the event space. If you do not wish to be filmed, please let BEDTIME STORIES event staff know on arrival.
CAN I GET A REFUND?
All ticket sales are final. We do not offer refunds. In cases where we have to cancel an event prior to opening, your ticket will be refunded at the point of purchase.
ARE YOUR EVENTS ACCESSIBLE?
While we do our best to make sure our partner venues are accesible and our ticketing prices affordable, we cannot guarantee this everytime. This is something we’re actively working on and welcome any feedback as to how we can improve.
CAN I PERFORM AT AN EVENT?
BEDTIME STORIES bookings are primarily handled in-house. We do, on occassion, accept submissions and pitches for live events or guest mixes for our monthly radio show. Priority will be given to Black, Queer, Women, Trans*-Non-Binary artists. Ideally, send your submission with a link to a live perfomance, work and/or set.
WHAT’S YOUR COVID-19 POLICY?
Out of respect, we ask that all guests test negative for COVID-19 before attending our live events. Masks are always welcome and we will do our best to provide free, disposable masks if and when we can. If you feel unwell at all please make sure to take a test with a negative result before attending our events or stay home.
CAN I HOST AN EVENT?
Bedtime Stories is always looking for partner venues and spaces to host our live events. We’re interested in unconvential but accessible locations and creative uses of civic and outdoor spaces. Do keep in mind that our guests have varying access needs and all event hosts require and up-to-date health and safety/emergency plan. If you’re interested in hosting an event, get in touch and tell us about you.
